Ringwicket · Frequently asked questions
After a missed call, what happens next?
A practical guide to the planned missed-call recovery flow, bilingual intake, contractor review and service-request follow-ups.
Questions & answers
How is Ringwicket intended to recover a missed call?
Ringwicket is being built to help home-service businesses recover missed calls. The intended flow starts after an unanswered call when that business has its phone and messaging provider connected and configured. A caller can then receive a follow-up invitation to share what they need. This page does not claim that live telephony or SMS is currently connected.
How can customers share service details in English or French?
Customers can use Ringwicket’s intake in English or French. It collects the service type, location, project details, optional photos and contact information. After the customer submits the form with the required permission to respond, the request is made available to the contractor in Ringwicket so they can review it and follow up about that service request.
Does Ringwicket send a quote without contractor review?
No. Ringwicket may help prepare a proposed quote from the service details, but the contractor reviews and approves it before it is sent to the customer.
What is the difference between response permission and follow-up preferences?
The intake form asks for explicit permission for the contractor to use the submitted service details and photos to respond to that request. This is separate from any preference about future service-request follow-ups. A blank choice, silence or no response is not consent to follow up. Customers can change or withdraw a follow-up preference at any time.
How can I opt out of future service-request follow-ups?
Email Ringwicket at ringwicket-me5c0y@polsia.io to ask us to stop future service-request follow-ups. Include the email address or phone number associated with your service request so we can identify it. Email is the route described here; automatic processing of STOP or ARRÊT text replies and a response time are not confirmed.
Need to update a preference?
We’ll help you find the right next step.
For an opt-out request, include the email address or phone number on the service request.
